Payment Plans

Medibank Private offers of the following convenient payment methods.

Direct Debit

Medibank Private’s direct debit facility is a convenient and flexible way to pay your premiums. Your premiums are automatically deducted from your bank, building society, credit union, or credit card account. You also have the flexibility to choose when you would like your payments to be made – fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly – it’s entirely up to you.

Note: direct debit deductions from a credit card account (Bankcard, MasterCard and Visa Card only) can only be made at monthly intervals and can only be debited on the 1th day of the month.

Cash cheque or credit card payments (other than direct debit are not available).

Payroll Deduction

If your employer has selected the Payroll Deduction faciity, you can take advantage of the convenience of paying your premiums through payroll deductions. Your premiums are automatically paid directly from your salary, by your employer. Payment frequency is usually dictated by the frequency of your regular pay cycle. Speak to your Pay Office to confirm this facility is available.
